The Sound of the Carpathian Underground
For over two decades, Călin Cyfer has been channeling the raw spirit of American blues through the soul of Eastern Europe. A self-taught guitarist from Brașov, Romania, he built his sound in smoky Bucharest clubs, on festival stages alongside Grammy winners, and in the solitude of relentless practice.
His music — what he calls World Blues — is a collision of blues rock, funk grooves, alternative music, and exotic textures that refuse to be boxed in.
